The communication of the meaning of a source-language text by means of an equivalent target-language text, is known as translation. Translators act as a bridge for "carrying across" values between cultures. Therefore, a translator shall be excellent at both the source language & culture and the target language & culture in order to produce accurate and reliable translation.
